I sounded far more prudish than I had planned to but I had to admit to being slightly horrified by the scene before me.
‘Oh come on. You know how much I love Christmas.’
She did love Christmas, but this … this was just … obscene. She was lying on the bed with everything from baubles to tinsel scattered around her, a smooth bauble was still nestled in her palm and I am certain it’s shine would be slightly dulled in parts as her juices began to dry upon it. Fairy lights twinkled all around her and despite my reservations about her choice of erotic inspiration I did giggle, she looked like the naughtiest elf there had ever been.
Note: I mention the Top 100 Sex Blogs 2018 list by MollysDailyKiss and how the results are imminent. The results actually went live last night & are somewhat different from my reflections in this post. I’ve chosen to leave the post as is though.
It’s been a whole month since I did a #SoSS post! Mostly because I’ve been knackered and busy with new work and I’ll be totally honest blogging, both writing and reading, had to take a back seat for me to function like a normal human! BUT I’m feeling a bit more with it now, caffeine, vitamins and embracing naps has worked wonders. So without further ado let’s share some downright sexy blog posts from my fellow bloggers.
… I wanted to call this post ‘On Writing‘. I shan’t dwell on that though. However, if you haven’t read that particular title of Stephen King’s I highly recommend it.
Back to the post at hand and what perfect inspiration this week’s Wicked Wednesday prompt is for me. The blog has been quiet the last week or so. New working hours have been well and truly kicking my ass, there has been a lot of daytime snoozing to make sure my physical and mental health don’t slip. I have had to accept that for the moment the blog isn’t the most important thing in life right now. That doesn’t mean regular service won’t resume though, it will and the reason is that I love writing and when I saw the Wicked Wednesday prompt I knew it was the perfect blog post to kick start my writing again.
For me, writing has been an outlet of emotions since my teens. My first love when it came to producing writing was poetry. I can’t recall my exact age but I was around twelve I think when I read ‘Love’s Philosophy’ by Percy Bysshe Shelley. That single poem felt to me like the purest and most wonderful thing ever written. It sent me on a journey to discover a poem I loved more than that one. To this day I have never found one, that poem remains my all-time favourite. It moves something inside me everytime I read it and I never tire of it.
The last two or three weeks have seen being far less productive than I’d usually like to be, I still have a cough left over from what has to be the most evil cold I have had in a long time, I’ve been looking for a new day job, as a matter of urgency as I am currently unemployed which is not a happy place for me and the last week has been half term, which always disturbs my writing routine and rightly so because my small human is only 6 and is still at the stage of enjoying Mummy’s company, so I am aware that I should make the most of that before he’s older and too cool to hang out with me.
That doesn’t mean I haven’t been perusing blogs though and there have definitely been a lot of posts that I have really enjoyed. I’ve especially been enjoying the Halloween inspired posts throughout October and was inspired to explore some spooky writing myself which has been a lot of fun. Enough about me though, here are my top picks from the last couple of weeks.
I’ve been a poorly pickle this week suffering from the evilest cold I’ve had in a long time, so none of my blogging has followed my intended plan. During the week, in a brief moment of feeling almost alive, I took some pictures with my purple Doxy. Intending to write a Wicked Wednesday post about two of my favourite purple toys (Doxy and Strapon). That didn’t happen, (I wrote this instead), but as a happy accident, I took this image and as soon as I saw it I knew it would be my pick for Sinful Sunday.
While it’s maybe showing a lot less of me than previous pictures, I really enjoy that to some degree the view is obscured by some sheet and Doxy head. Once I get past those things though I love how my boobs look and that alone is enough to want to share.
The header image is one of the images I took at the same time but heavily filtered for Instagram!
I haven’t perused all the Sinful Sunday images yet, but I have glanced at the thumbnails and once again I tell it is going to be a very sexy week. Please do check out all the other submissions and leave a like or comment for your favourites. People put so much effort into creating their images and I know the feedback is appreciated.
A little while back the wonderful Posy Churchgate tagged me in a Erotica competition on Twitter and I didn’t enter. Then she tagged me again because the deadline had been extended for entries and I did enter. The finalist have been announced for that competition and I am one of them. Which means I owe Posy a massive thank you for tagging me not once, but twice, because without that I would not have entered.
‘Would you like some cake? I made it myself.’ Her eyes light up, and she accepts gratefully. I watch as cake crumbs fall onto her pert breasts and my mind wanders to touching and tasting, and I don’t for one minute mean the cake. – Excerpt from Beauty and the Babe
When I first started this blog I wasn’t involved in the blogging community at all. Through the podcast I started to converse with other podcasters, and that felt like a far easier community to break into that the blogging one. Until that is I realised something, I hadn’t actually tried to be part of the blogging community.
When I decided to eventually start taking part in things within the blogging community I will be honest and say I did so because I thought it might be a good way to promote ProudToBeKinky. However, far more of you visit me for my writing than my podcasting, so I can be upfront and say that plan did not work out.
It’s that day of the week again and I couldn’t go with doing a #SoSS post this week. I read some awesome blog posts and I can’t wait to share them with you. First of all I wanted to take a moment to address why we do these posts. While it is lovely to see the camaraderie within the blogging community, introduce our blog regulars to new finds and drive traffic towards new blogs those are not the initial reason the Share our Shit Saturday movement was started.
I am working on a blog post about collars and collaring, and I reached out on Twitter to see if any companies would like to help me explore my own personal experience with collars a little bit. Bondara very kindly responded to my request for help, and sent me two collars, the idea being that they would help me explore collars in a different way to the only one we currently use.
One of the collars I was sent was the Lair Black Leather Studded Heart Collar. I’ll be honest the reason this collar was one that appealed to me was because it was cute and I had visions of Bakji getting his submission on in a super cute heart collar. However, as soon as it arrived my feelings on the matter changed.
