[Photography] Wonder

Everything grows rounder and wider and weirder …

… and I sit here in the middle of it all and wonder …

… who in the world you will turn out to be.

Words by Carrie Fisher

I don’t think this quote could be any more spot on for where I’m at in my pregnancy I’m definitely getting rounder, absolutely getting wider and new levels of weird are reached every day but all things are wonderful and even on the days I struggle more, I am incredibly grateful to be round and wide.

As much as I see memes with topics I’d love to discuss, or have ideas of my own I’d like to explore I think it’s safe to say I won’t be blogging often, my brain just doesn’t have the capacity to write often at the moment. I appreciate when people say me cutting back makes them sad because they enjoy my work but honestly, I’m really content right now and would much rather spend my baby free weeks sleeping than attached to my laptop.

Photos are a little easier to keep up with though, so I think those are more likely posts to occur. I also have some really ‘sexy’ disposable maternity knickers for after the birth and seeing as it’s good to keep things real, I think I’m going to share some images of them in the future, so we’ve got all the fun to come still.

  1. Stunningly beautiful only as creation of life can be.
I think there is something happening now where blogging just isn’t that important. Your priorities are sound. Not that you need any external approval.
    Stay safe and well.
I can’t wait to hear the results of this endeavor.
